Back in 1983 a group of keen and dedicated owners of English small Fords formed a club called the New Anglia Prefect Cortina Club of Australia. The 'new' related to the second generation of Anglias and Prefects. The objective of the club was to promote the preservation and restoration of these small English Fords. While the first Ford Anglias appeared in the 40's Ford released the 100E in 1953. The 100E was available a2-door Anglia and a 4-door Prefect.Internally there were individual front seats trimmed in PVC, hinged to allow rear access.
